Day 01
Arrive Cochin
Reach Cochin and you’ll be transferred to the hotel. Day is to relax.
In the evening proceed for KATHAKALI DANCE PRESENTATION. Overnight will be at Cochin.
Day 02
Cochin:
After breakfast – proceed for the sightseeing visiting the Old Cochin area which is one of the oldest Jewish communities in the world. Later explore the Chinese fishing nets erected on teak wood and bamboo poles work on the principle of balance.
The other important places are the Vasco Da Gama Square, Santa Cruz Basilica, St. Francis Church, VOC Gate, Bastion Bungalow, Mattancherry Palace, etc. Records say they were first set up here between AD 1350 and 1450.
Later in the evening take a walk at Princess street and also enjoy the Harbour cruise to enjoy the sunset.
Overnight stay will be at hotel.
Day 03
Cochin – Munnar:
By Road in 5 hr
After breakfast, proceed to Munnar.
Reach Munnar and check in to the hotel.
Munnar is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams – Mudrapuzha, Nallathani & Kundala. Overnight will be at Munnar.
Day 04
Munnar:
After breakfast, enjoy the sightseeing tour of Munnar visiting Elephant Lake or Anayirangal which has a dam and a reservoir.
The history of Munnar is connected to tea plantations for over a century. Munnar is home to a few of the World’s best tea estates. The Tea Museum opened by Tata Tea at Nallathanni Tea Estate in Munnar, is a tribute to the pioneers, whose toils and commitment transformed Munnar into a major tea plantation centre of Kerala.
Also visit CSI Church which is a popular destination which built in 1910 and is an important landmark of Munnar.
Overnight will be at Munnar.
Day 05
Munnar – Periyar:
By Road in 4 hr
Post breakfast drive southwards over rolling hills and coffee plantations to the PERIYAR WILDLIFE SANCTUARY, one of the major wildlife reserves in India.
Reach and check in to the hotel. Afternoon, visit the elephant farm where we offer you the opportunity to spend a rare and special moment with Elephants. Located just outside of the city, nestled within the cardamom, coffee and pepper plantations, the surrounding itself is already very peaceful.
During these 1.30 hours, you will get the chance to feed your new friend, take a walk within the plantations, and then give him his bath.
Relax and overnight will be at the hotel.
Day 06
Periyar:
Breakfast will be at the hotel.
Proceed for the visit to Spice Plantations. The spice plantation in Periyar is one of the major spice plantations in Kerala. The spice plantations in Kerala are captivating farms to wander in, since different spices are cultivated in different sections of each plantation.
Evening – Enjoy Boat ride at Periyar Lake.
Overnight will be at Periyar.
Day 07
Periyar – Kumarakom:
By Road in 4 hr
Kumarakom – Houseboat Cruise:
Breakfast at the resort then proceed to Kumarakom. The village of Kumarakom is a cluster of little islands on the Vembanad Lake, and this small water world is part of the Kuttanad region.
Reach and check into a traditional houseboat of Kerala Style and go on a leisurely backwater cruise along the lake on a thatched houseboat. Lunch will be served on the boat. The boat will be anchored in the backwaters along a paddy field and you can go for a stroll into the village or relax at the deck of the boat.
Dinner will be on the boat. Overnight will be at Houseboat.
Day 08
Alleppey – Kovalam:
By Road in 4 hr
Breakfast would be on board. Cruise through the backwaters and reach Alleppy. Disembark from the houseboat and drive to Kovalam.
Kovalam went through a gradual metamorphosis from an obscure fishing village to a contemporary holiday destination. A natural bay created by a breathtaking rock cluster and three crescent shaped beaches make up the stunning and very beautiful Kovalam beach in Kerala, South India.
Reach and check in to the hotel. Relax and explore the beach. Overnight will be at Kovalam.
Day 09 – 11
Kovalam – Kanyakumari and Trivandrum excursion
Breakfast will be at Hotel.
One of the days – enjoy the sightseeing tour of Trivandrum and Kanyakumari. Overnight will be at Kovalam.
Day 12
Kovalam (Trivandrum) – Back Home:
Today as per the flight timings you will be transferred to the airport to take a flight back home with sweet memories of India.
