Overview
This tour if for those who have dreamt of seeing all the Ancient Pharaonic sites of Egypt but don’t have many days to spare on a holiday. With this tour, even in less time, one can experience the best of Egypt by visiting the famous Ancient sites in Cairo and Luxor. The days will be filled with exploring the many wonders of the two cities including the Pyramids and Sphinx in Cairo along with the renowned Egyptian Museum, followed by an incredible journey through the beautiful Luxor exploring the Valley of the Kings and the most famous archaeological burial sites of the Pharaohs and many Temples in Luxor.

Day 1
Arrival at Cairo
You will be met and assisted on arrival at Cairo Airport by our Representative.
Transfer to your hotel in Cairo. Check in and relax.
After check-in you are free to spend the rest of the day/evening at your leisure relaxing at the hotel or there is an optional tour at the Pyramids known as the ‘Sound and Light Show’ which tells the history of the Pyramids in ancient times.
Overnight will be at Cairo.
Day 2
Cairo – Giza Pyramids, Sphinx & Saqqara tour
After breakfast, Kick starts this exhilarating tour with a convenient pickup by your Egyptologist tour guide from your hotel in Cairo in an air-conditioned vehicle. Get to know more about the history of Egypt in this 4-hour tour that takes you to the Giza Pyramids. Head over to the Great Pyramids, a renowned destination and one among the Seven Wonders of the World. Visit the Great Pyramids from the inside. Continue the tour with a panoramic view of the Pyramids of Giza: The Pyramids Cheops, Chaperon, and Menkaure.
You’ll also get to see the impressive Sphinx of Giza, truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Don’t forget to take as many photos as you can of these amazing structures.
Later we visit Saqqara, The Step Pyramid of Djoser which is the earliest monumental pyramid in Egypt. The pyramid is part of a complex of buildings, said to have been planned and executed by that most famous architect of the ancient world, Imhotep. While not as impressive as the Giza pyramids, there are other smaller pyramids and tombs, that one can enter. Hieroglyphics were not yet done at these tombs but much later at other tombs. Wonderfully some of the original paint still exist on some of the images others of course have been worn down but the ones that still had paint were extraordinary to behold.
At the end of the tour, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel for overnight stay.
Day 3
Cairo – Egyptian Museum, Citadel of Salah El Dien, Churches of Cairo, and Khan El Khalili Bazaar
Today you’ll visit the most interesting museum in Egypt with an Egyptologist as your guide who will show you highlights of the unbelievable collection of artifacts from the old, middle, and new kingdoms. The museum house over 250,000 genuine artifacts, including the treasures of the most famous Egyptian pharaoh, Tutankhamen. The gold and jewellery on display was enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years before it was discovered in the 1920s during excavations.
Later we will explore the Citadel of Salah El Dien, Hanging Church, and The Cave Church.
Post sightseeing we explore the beautiful and colourful Khan El Khalili Bazaar of Cairo.
Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 4
Alexandria Excursion
Early morning after breakfast at 07:00 am drive to Alexandria which is 225 kms from Cairo and is a 2.5 hours drive. Full day explore the Catacombs, Roman Theater, Pompeys’ Pillar, view of Citadel of Qait bay from outside and Montazah Gardens.
After the sightseeing, drive back to Cairo. Reach and evening at leisure.
Overnight at Cairo hotel.
Day 5
Cairo – Luxor
By Flight
Have early breakfast at the hotel. Later, transfer to the domestic airport for your flight to Luxor.
Arrive at Luxor and our driver will meet you at the airport, transfer to your hotel and check-in.
Later – start with your day tour to the east bank of Luxor and Necropolis.
First we visit the Luxor Museum, This wonderful museum has an amazing collection of antiques dating from the end of the Old Kingdom right through to the Mamluk period. These are mostly gathered from the Theban temples and necropolis in the ancient times.
Then we move to visit the Karnak Temples, the greatest example of how people used to worship in the ancient times. The Temple was dedicated to the God Amon, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu. It construction started from the beginning of the Middle Kingdom and went upto the Graeco Roman Kingdom.
We would also visit the Luxor Temple which was started to be built by Amunhotep III in the 18th Dynasty and was completed by Ramses II during the 19th Dynasty who was the most famous king in the 19th Dynasty. He ruled Egypt for about 67 years.
Also, enjoy visiting the Obelisk of Ramses II in front of the 1st Pylon
Later, we return back to the hotel. Overnight in Luxor.
Day 6
Luxor
Fly back to Cairo
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel.
Today we will discover the West bank of Luxor and visit the Valley of the Kings, and the tombs of various Dynasties. King Tut’s tomb is the tomb which you will visit from the inside in the Valley of the Kings. The king’s mummified body was found in a golden coffin surrounded by precious grave goods. His burial chamber was officially opened in the presence of Egyptologists and government officials on 17 February 1923. Today, Tutankhamun is ancient Egypt’s one of the most famous pharaoh.
Continue to visit the Valley of the Queens, also known as Ta-Set-Neferu that means “The Place of Beauty”. This valley served as necropolis for the tombs of royal family members including the Queens and the princesses of the ancient Egyptian New Kingdom. Whilst here, you will have a chance to visit the colourful tomb of queen Nefertari.
Post this we move to visit the Temple of Deir El Bahari of Queen Hatshepsut. Later we stop at the Colossi of Memnon which are two gigantic sitting statues representing Amenopis III facing the Nile and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut.
We then transfer you to the Luxor airport for your flight back to Cairo.
On arrival we receive you at the airport an transfer to the hotel for the overnight stay.
Day 7
Departure
Today as per your flight timings we will transfer you to the International airport for your flight back home or to the next destination.
